Down-to-Earth Goddesses: A Real Russian Woman Secret Oath

Behold in Awe you noble Stranger, for you’ve got the luck to be admitted to the heart of the Mystique of Russian Women!

Russian, Ukrainian, Former Soviet Union, who cares about the borders – these Women are an ancient Tribe who keep the Fire of Love, Family, Morality and Inspiration, and a Secret Order, spreading Sacral Knowledge and Help.

Are you stunned with their “too-good-to-be-real” image, hoping that Someone for You may still be, and wondering how?

Russians say, “One isn’t born a Woman, one becomes her.”

We consider Femininity an art, but not artifice; much effort is devoted to restore connection with the Nature.

At the moment, let us leave alone the Teaching’s underachievers and renegades, and who made them so… (no, enough about Feminism, our boo is “Notorious Russian Men” and their product “Bad Russian Girls”.)

Are you familiar with the true Sense of Solidarity we share? Are you aware of thousands of Russian Women’s magazines, books, websites, and communications that make two strange Russian-speaking women (all the more for relatives and friends) two kindred fellow members of the Women’s Privy Council? Are you interested to know that Council’s Policy towards Men? ;)

I tried to distill the spirit that pervades the Modern Russian Women’s Culture. And here is the silent spell that makes the potion…

A Russian Woman’s Oath
(for Confirmation of Qualification as a “Real Woman”)

“I, Woman, thank the Holy Providence for my birth into this World, into this Time, into this Body.

1. I Realize my Mission, which is Beauty, Love and Kindness.

2. I Accept this World as a miraculous and funny gift for me (which I am brimming to share and avid to be shown).

3. I Commit myself as a miraculous and funny gift for this World (and personally to One Special Man).

4. I Presume the World has Everything I need, and it needs Everything I have. (The only issue is arranging it.)

5. I Swear to Do and Give my best to keep It All in Motion and Harmony. (With Activity and Languor Phases… both can be productive or distracting.)

6. I Undertake to Perfect what I can, beginning with Myself, my Actions, the Space around me, and my Dearest Ones. (Let’s invent a stop call.)

7. I Enjoy the Right to what can make me Happy. (It’s as simple as a kite… let my spirit soar, hold connection securely in your hands, and lead it playfully… anyway I will be yours, near, seen, manageable, centered at you and our home, and tending to the warm Earth.)

8. I Agree, for my own Happiness, to find Pleasures in my Moments, Chances in my Challenges, and Lessons in my Outcomes. (And also take other people’s Pleasures and Lessons as my own.)

9. I Tribute to all People who make me what I am.

10. I shall Do what I Must; let it Be what it Should.

“I, Woman, bear the Blessing, Privilege, Risk, Burden and Responsibility of Motherhood, and subscribe to the ensuing Rights and Obligations.

1. To Regard my actions and omissions through the Interests of Children that I Have, or Would Have in the future.

2. To Decide bringing Children into the World when I am ready, steady, eager and mature enough to Ensure Giving them All the Best.

3. To Amount physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and material Assets for Investing them into my [future] Family. (The Man is main.)

4. To Evaluate my Partner as a [potential] Father of the Family. (That also involves his Favoring the Rights that follow:)

5. To Protection and Provision, so I can plunge into the Woman’s Mission.

6. To Recognition and Gratitude that fuel my Spirit, Heart and Effort.

7. To Care and Spare of myself, so I Restore and Enhance what I can Give.

8. To Attention and Pampering, because the Couple or Family is just as happy as the Woman of it. (1/3 of Oath left, I wanna lark away to Russian jokes.)

9. To Beauty and Romance, so my Beloved and I remain the King and Queen of Love. (If only these Heirs didn’t pry about.)

10. I have Freedom to Do what I Should and Need, so Everyone is sure I’m doing it with Passion, not Grudge.

“I, Woman, recognize the Magic Influence I master, and promise to use it only for Creation, Inspiration, Excitement, Defense and Peace.

1. I Believe in Destiny and Desire that come on terms. (It depends on terms.)

2. I am Aware that Being Good to People is one surest and highest way to Own Satisfaction. (When Egoism refines itself to Altruism.)

3. I Confess that the person I’m most interested in and driven by is My [Would-be] Man. :-)

4. I Reserve that I shall go on 2. without detriment to Children, Mum and My Own Soul. (Mum, mind your own husband and all other things nice, please.)

5. I Know Men rule the World and Women rule the Men. (Where are the Manuals?)

6. I Enroll in learning Being Weak, and teaching Men being Strong. (What takes more strength, to hold a weak or a strong woman?)

7. I Subscribe to be true to spontaneous motions of my Soul (so-called Womanly Caprice inclusive).

8. I Take Care to make my expressions beautiful, timely and valued (so-called Womanly Caprice inclusive).

9. I Must be stern if lesser pain today ensures more joy tomorrow (see supra). (Oh and if you only knew how tiresome is that Princess’ corset).

10. I Shall Not Fear to shine and warm.

“God I pray give me:

wisdom, to understand the Man;
love, to forgive him;
and patience to his moods.

Notice dear God I don’t pray power,
