Dear Natalie,
Please forgive me for not finding the correct format to ask this question but I couldn’t find it elsewhere.
My question: If I bring a woman from Russia here–What do I need to do?
My plans have changes as my beautiful friend in Murmansk has acquired plane tickets to the U.S. from her employer as a birthday present.
Do I need to file any forms with Immigration (she will be staying at my house)?
I have read through the visa process at the Department of State and for “temporary visitors” the only requirement is that she list where she is staying.
It just seems odd to me that I would not have to file a document to confirm this.

I wish somebody showed me an employer who’ll give me the cost of $15,000 without any business purpose! Even that I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn. ;)
How sweetly prompt. Right after she knew you are arriving. In Russia, it is called “grand piano in the bushes”. We’ve come for a picnic, and suddenly, there’s a grand piano to play!
You could have read that having a visa is a prerequisite for getting any tickets. “Hey, girl, I can give you keys from a car. Provided you have bought it.”
What you have to do is to wait till she requests money for her visa, before you run run run. That’s of course if you have extra time for curiosity.
Save your effort and heart for a better chance. Which you certainly deserve.
