High heels are exclamation marks added to every move. They can be expressive; they can be pretentious. You know, Russian culture tends to certain demonstrativeness, "living now", denial of poverty. High heels allroad, and Sunday-best clothes only, are one of its trends. Designed to be a demonstration platform, high heels can serve as protheses of confidence – or an organic attribute to a dramatic personality who takes art from life itself, and makes life an artform (whatever like, - no appraisals here). High heels are essentially awkward when you run errands and don't mean showing off, - like a business suit at fishing on a hot day. Yet they can make an ordinary day a celebration of corporal existence, if you allow yourself a bit more hasteless tempo. Oh, they translate different messages when worn without occasion. From a shy whisper-shout "Just notice me!" to your befeared hystrionic / narcissistic disorder alert. And in between, there is the call "Down with cold, heavy, grim and avitaminous! Spring is coming, something's to be changed!" ...No, these nostalgic "conventional" 12 cm are TOO much.
